Bored with your hairstyle

Some of us, without the shadow of a doubt, are adventurous souls who are willing to try everything and anything that looks fun and funky with our hair. Women who belong to this type do not give much thought about going to the salon to have their hair dyed and cut according to the current fad, or at least they take their time to do their dyeing at home. These women are the fun, flamboyant souls who are happy with keeping up with the trends.

Sometimes, however, no matter how much we want to, we cannot just go to the salon and indulge ourselves in outrageous hair colors and sassy haircuts. It could be because we work for companies with a conservative leaning and such bold hairdos could cost us our job. Or we could be suffering from hair damage or hair loss, so we literally do not have the head for such an indulgence. Or probably, we just want to try different hairdos but do not wish to damage our natural hair.

Whatever our reasons may be, it is no reason for despair. You can still let your natural hair be untouched by styling chemicals and by the hands of an overly creative hairstylist and yet be flamboyant and free with your hairstyles. How is this done? What else, baby, but through accessorizing.

What accessories can you wear to radically change your hairstyle without really changing your hair? The choices are endless, but the most obvious one would be to wear a wig. If you want to have red hair for that wild party tonight, wear a short red wig with spikes. If you want to look romantic for that date with the cute guy from the gym, wear a wig with curls. With wigs, the options are really unlimited. You can wear any color you want and any style you want. There are so many colors and pre-cut styles to choose from, and you can definitely let your imagination loose with wigs.

But if wigs are not for you, you can try hair extensions for instantly long hair, or maybe fake ringlets. You can have hair extensions that have streaks on it to give your hair a rainbow moment even for just one night.

If wigs and extensions are not your style, how about wearing a hat? Hats never go out of style and add some jazz to your outfit. You can go for sporty by doing your hair in a ponytail and putting on a ball cap. You can go for casual with a straw hat with a wide brim, or you can go elegant with a pillbox hat a la Jackie O.

If not a hat, then perhaps a turban or a scarf? Wrapping your hair in a colorful turban or scarf is so chic, so stylish and so elegant.

The point is you can be as creative as you want with your hair without having to visit the salon for a cut and color. Discover your style and have fun.
