Why would women lose hair?

For both men and women, with a full head of healthy hair growth is an essential key to having a good self-image. We spend so much money on products that will ensure that our hair is healthy, shiny and full of life, products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling, and many others. Many of us also go to classrooms on a regular basis to keep our manes as beautiful as possible.
The condition of the hair is so important that it really can increase our self-confidence or support to its collapse. So when the hair is lost, can cause trauma and uncertainty on both the person experiencing hair loss.

For some of us, hair loss is inevitable. It may be because we have inherited the genes that make us predisposed to losing our hair once they reach a certain age. Hair loss may also be a sign of disease in the body, or the fact of treating the disease, such as how people undergoing chemotherapy lose their hair. It may also be because they put too much pressure on our hair with a consistent style.

Let us note that it is perfectly fine to lose about 50-100 hair strands a day. Our hair grows to a certain length for some time before our scalp sheds leading to new hair growth. Sometimes it seems we’re losing more than 100 chapters a day, but that could be because the previously shed hair entangled with the other chapters and was released only by washing or brushing.

If hair loss ever happen to us, we must remember that it is not the end of the world to us. There are solutions for dealing with hair loss, such as medicine, transplantation or replacement.

When you go to a clinic for hair restoration, you can expect your doctor may recommend taking medication to treat hair loss first. Or, he or she can diagnose your hair loss may be the result of another underlying disease, and he or she will look for symptoms of diseases and body. However, if the doctor tells you to take the first medication, whether he or she will prescribe medications for Propecia or Rogaine.

Propecia is the brand under which finasteride is marketed. Finasteride is a formulation that is designed to inhibit 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme that is believed to be responsible for hair loss. Propecia is taken orally, but their effect lasts only while the drug is consumed. Women are not usually prescribed to take finasteride, because it can lead to birth defects in male babies.

Rogaine, however, is the brand name of minoxidil. It is applied topically to the scalp. Like finasteride, minoxidil effects last only while using the drug.

If you want to undergo hair transplant surgery, your doctor will determine if you are a candidate for this procedure because not everyone can go through this kind of treatment. But if you do come through the surgery, the doctor will do is graft individual hairs on your scalp, mimicking the natural growth pattern of your hair as closely as possible.

For people who do not want to spend much money on medical or surgical procedures that may or may not work, there is always alternative medicine such as acupuncture. Some experts say that acupuncture works to promote hair re-growth on the scalp. What is acupuncture is to stimulate the nerve endings in the scalp and improve blood circulation to the scalp. With increased circulation, more nutrients are brought into the scalp, encouraging new cells to develop hair follicles. Blood flow also allows rapid repair and replacement of damaged cells.

If the medications and hair transplant does not work, there is always hair replacement – another term for using a wig. The wigs can be fun, modern and stylish. Wigs are very good right now so that the user does not have to fear the wig being blown or biased by the sudden movement. If you choose to wear wigs, just be careful to wash them often so it does not irritate the skin.

Hair loss may be inevitable for some of us, but not the end of the world. There is always a solution to it.
